Job Placement Assistance
We can work one-on-one with you to find job opportunities that match your new skills and career goals:
Resume & Cover Letter Coaching
Learn how to craft a professional resume that highlights your training, certifications, and externship or lab experience. We’ll help format it and even provide templates.
Interview Preparation
Our team conducts mock interviews and shares commonly asked dental assistant interview questions. You’ll get feedback on your answers, attire, and body language so you can walk into real interviews with confidence.
Job Leads & Referrals
D.A. Academy has built strong relationships with many local dentists and clinics in Charlotte and surrounding areas. These offices frequently reach out to us when they have openings. As a graduate, you’ll get early access to these job listings. We often send out emails or texts to recent grads saying “Dr. Smith’s office is hiring – submit your resume!”
Career Fairs & Networking
We host periodic networking events where you can meet potential employers (dental practice owners/office managers) in a casual setting. These events often lead to interviews and job offers for our graduate.

This is something we hear often. Many of our students are hired immediately upon program completion, and sometimes even in the final weeks of class. Thanks to our students’ hard work and our job placement efforts combined, securing employment is the goal!

Advanced Certifications
We encourage grads to return for continuing ed courses (like Radiology or Nitrous Oxide monitoring) to increase employability. Our alumni receive a priority seating and seasonal discount on CE course fees as part of ongoing development.
