Any dental professional: DA I, DA II or RDH may take this course
Admission Requirements
Proof of dental profession
Upload a current CPR/AED card
Upload valid proof of identification
Acceptable proof of status/experience may include one or more of the following:
A Dental Assistant I program completion certificate or
A Dental Assistant II certificate from an accredited institution or
A CDA certificate from another state or
Signature and license number from your supervising dentist on the registration application or
A DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) certificate Or
An approval letter from a dentist on a letter head document including
Your full name
Confirming your dental assistant status- are you a DA I in training or DA II?
Dentist full name, signature and license number

Course Outcome
Participants who successfully complete the course and pass the final exam will receive a North Carolina State-Recognized Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification, qualifying them to legally monitor patients during nitrous oxide sedation procedures under direct supervision.
