Invest in Your Dental Assisting Career
Tuition Overview
Tuition includes all instructional hours, lab usage, and basic materials. For the 12-week program, textbooks and one set of scrubs are also included. CE course fees include exam or same day certification costs as applicable (e.g., Radiography exam fee).
Dental Assistant Program
Comprehensive dental assistant training with instructional hours, lab usage, basic materials, textbooks and one set of scrubs included.
Dental Radiography Course
Coronal Polishing Course
Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Course
CPR/AED Certification
Payment Plans & Methods
We offer two easy payment options for the Dental Assistant 12-week program:
CE Course Payments
All continuing education courses require a smaller upfront payment (typically a deposit or full fee before selecting the class date).
We encourage students on payment plans to make additional payments anytime if possible — there are no penalties for early payoff. Our goal is to help you graduate debt-free or with minimal debt!
Financial Assistance & Grants
There are several funding resources that may cover part or all of your tuition:
WIOA Grant (Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act)
D.A. Academy of NC is an approved WIOA training provider. If you meet the eligibility requirements, you may qualify for grant funding through your local workforce agency that could cover up to 100% of your tuition. Grant funds do not need to be repaid.
We'll provide you with information about available funding resources and direct you to the appropriate agency to begin the process.
Funding programs are administered independently by each workforce agency. Eligibility, case management, application review, and funding decisions are made solely by the agency and your assigned case worker. D.A. Academy of NC's role is limited to providing information about available resources and approved training programs. We do not process applications, determine eligibility, or influence funding decisions.
Salisbury-Rowan Community Action Agency
Residents of Rowan and Salisbury counties may qualify for job training assistance through programs offered by Salisbury-Rowan Community Action Agency, including funding for eligible training programs such as Dental Assisting.
We'll provide information about this resource and direct you to the appropriate agency so you can inquire about available services.
Salisbury-Rowan Community Action Agency independently determines eligibility, manages applications, and makes all funding decisions. D.A. Charlotte Area Fund
This local program may offer educational grants to eligible Charlotte-area residents seeking job training. Because D.A. Academy of NC is an approved training provider, eligible applicants may be able to use these funds toward our tuition.

Employer Sponsorships
Already working in a dental office? Some employers may offer tuition assistance or professional-development support for job-related training, especially short continuing-education programs. D.A. Academy of NC can provide program details, tuition documentation, and information about the benefits of our dental assistant training for your employer.
We are also happy to help you explain how the program supports skill development and workplace growth.

How to Get Started with In-House Financing
Our in-house installment plan gives you a straightforward way to secure your seat and arrange your remaining tuition payments during the course.
Schedule an Enrollment Appointment
Schedule an enrollment appointment with us and pay your $1,800 deposit. You will receive uniforms, dental workbook and dental model.
One-Time Finance Fee
A one-time 5% in-house finance fee is added to your balance. You then select your preferred payment schedule: weekly or biweekly payments.
Finalize Your Payment Plan
We then finalize your payment plan contract and schedule. Conveniently pay online via recurring invoices beginning the first day of class.
